Positive impact
programs
Our Impact Programs are multi-day programs designed for mission-driven travel groups. We match your group travel goals with our project social and environmental goals and design a unique experience that will add value to your organization, our project and our llama farmer partner’s requirements.
Your group will support our mission by participating in a hands-on experience in one or more of our partner communities in the high Andes. By joining one of our programs they will work alongside llama-farming families, gain insight into their daily lives and unique challenges, and take part in a traditional llama caravan trek. Your contribution will include meaningful actions co-designed by the Llama Pack Project and local guild members to achieve specific project milestones.
Programs are impact-oriented and include cultural immersion, sustainable travel, and community-based experiences.
Program Fields
Our Impact Journey groups usually consist of at least 10 students or professionals accompanied by 1 or 2 faculty members or group leaders of their own organization whom are led throughout the program by Llama Pack Project team members.
Our program fields usually consist of:

Service-learning.
Medical.
Veterinary.

Entrepreneurship.
The itinerary will consider acclimatization to high altitude, project briefing, cultural immersion and service work at high-Andean communities plus a llama trek experience. Cultural, adventure and tourism activities as well as a visit to Machu Picchu can be added to the program.
